Share/Save/Bookmark PRIME Minister Raila Odinga was yesterday warned to stop blackmailing party members opposed to his brand of politics. Dujis MP Aden Dualle and Chairman of the Association Local Government Authorities of Kenya (Algak) Taraiyia ole Kores told the PM that he will pay dearly for his vengeance against people who supported him.
The legislator who was addressing journalists in parliament warned that a group of hardcore politicians and public servants gravitating around the PM were running ODM like a cult. “We are seeing a situation where a national party is being run like a personal property. Surely time will come for this cult to pay for this,”Duale said. He warned that the premier was a captive of a group of tribal funs who were holding him hostage and acting in bad faith.
He said it was unfair for the party to victimize the 35 nominated councilors on the basis of their perceived shift in loyalty to Ruto saying that the civic leaders earned their positions due to their contribution to the party`s success during the 2007 general elections. “This councilors worked hard for this positions at the grassroots, this people are so forgetful and intolerant,”Duale said.
