Some Nyanza legislators were overheard gossiping about a palatial home the former Rarieda MP has acquired in Nairobi. The MPs seem jealous of Tuju's new acquisition so much that one of them has now threatened to “outdo” Tuju by acquiring larger and cuter house than Tuju’s.

An MP from Coast Province has gone into hiding as debtors are baying for his blood. The man has literally switched off his phones and has told his close associates including his PA in Parliament to tell anybody asking about him that he is out on a foreign trip. The legislator has however been spotted at secluded resort in Mombasa.

South Mugirango MP Manson Nyamweya’s resolve to decamp to Prime Minister Raila Odinga’s ODM camp has angered a top Kisii Cabinet minister. Nyamweya, is understood to be planning to switch camps and may even do so this weekend when Raila tours the region. The speculation  has angered some Kisii leaders who have promised to teach the legislator a lesson for being politically deviant.

Supporters of Kenyan ambassador to China Julius Sunkuli have been working out the ground in Narok county for the man to take one of the new positions created by the constitution. The diplomat who has been away for some time now is understood to be planning to make a grand political come back in a few months. Our mole in China is telling us that the former powerful minister has been in touch with his supporters as he plans to run for the senate seat in the 2012 elections.
