Sympathizers of the Ocampo six are planning a grand homecoming party cum prayer rally at Uhuru Park.
Close allies and supporters of Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta and Eldoret North MP William say they have acquired all necessary permits from the police and City Council of Nairobi for the Monday's meeting.
However a showdown looms as ODM party says it has booked the same venue for a prayer meeting for victims of the post-election violence.
ODM party The party Led by Deputy Prime Minister Musalia Mudavadi, and eight MPs Saturday told a prayer meeting for PEV victims at Kamukunji Grounds, Nairobi, that the Ocampo Six should not be allowed to hold the rally scheduled for Uhuru Park on Monday.
Uhuru, Ruto Radio journalist Joshua arap Sang and a host of MPs who had accompanied them to the Hague for their summonses jet into the country Monday morning.
Legislators Ferdinand Waititu, Adan Duale, Mwangi Kiunjuri and Gidion 'Sonko' Mbuvi among others on Sunday urged Kenyans to turn up in large number to pray for peace and reconciliation saying security will be in place during the rally scheduled to kick off at 11 am.
A large procession of supporters and a convoy of vehicles will receive the duo at the airport and proceed to Uhuru Park using Outering road, on to Jogoo road the Landhies road and finally Haile Selassie Avenue.
The group expects at least one million Uhuru-Ruto supporters to attend the rally they claim will be the mother of all rallies ever held in Kenya.
The meeting comes ain the wake of a warning to the six suspects from the ICC judges over remarks that might reignite violence in the country.
Attorney General Amos Wako has also cautioned them and their supporters against adverse comments on the cases at the International Criminal Court.
"As the judicial process before the International Criminal Court has now formally commenced, I would advise that utmost restraint be exercised by all including the parties directly or indirectly concerned against commenting on issues before the Court," he added.
Wako said in dealing with post-election violence priority must be given to the interest of the victims as well.
Addressing a news conference at the Kenyan Embassy at The Hague before leaving for Nairobi, the AG said efforts should be directed at the implementation of the new Constitution.
