TEACHER TO BLAME: The Teachers Service Commission would like to update one of its employees, James Kamau Gitau, on the outcome of the Job Group ‘M’ promotions interview he sat some time back and the reimbursement of his travel expenses, which he recently complained had been withheld, but it cannot do so. LANDLINE WOES. For nearly three years, Mathangani Muya’s landline, No. 4347560 has been out of order, but he has not tired of reporting this to the Sports Road office at Westlands, Nairobi. “Sometimes I am requested to provide a map, which I do. In February, the watchman would not let me in, but I insisted on seeing the supervisor. Eventually, he agreed to call customer care from his guardhouse. The Optica Shop at Nakumatt Junction in Nairobi risks losing a customer, Arnie Mcilwaine, who is unhappy about how he has been treated since he took a pair of glasses there for repairs. He would like managing director Kush Bhardwaj to know that the staff did a poor repair job, but worse is the frustration he has suffered trying to seek redress. FRUSTRATED. Zuku has failed to provide Dr Shabbir Hussain of Nairobi with the cable TV and high-speed Internet services that he paid for after they gave him a firm assurance.
