Four people died on Monday when a well they were working on at Ngethu treatment plant in Gatundu caved in.
The victims were employees of Kudhan Singh Company that had been contracted by the Nairobi Water Sewerage Company.
The deceased were digging a trench for water pipes when the walls suddenly collapsed on them.
The area AP boss Chief Inspector Francis Gachoki said one worker was rescued and rushed to hospital.
Rescuers also managed to pull out the bodies of the four who were identified as Dominic Gitau, James Warui, James Kariuki and Antony Okite.
