Mwai Kibaki Thursday at State House, Nairobi, held talks with former Ghanaian President John Kufuor who is the current World Food Programme special envoy on hunger.
The former President updated President Kibaki on his new mission and said he looked forward to working with the Kenyan government to implement programmes aimed at combating hunger.
On his part, President Kibaki informed Kufuor on steps the Kenyan government is taking to ensure food security for all Kenyans.
The Head of State said he looked forward to working with the special envoy in his mission to fight hunger in the region and around the world.
