Uhuru names 26 Principal Secretaries

Only three serving permanent secretaries have been retained in the new bureaucratic structure of government.
President Kenyatta nominated Mutea Iringo as Principal Secretary, Ministry of Interior and Coordination of National Government, Karanja Kibicho as Foreign Affairs PS and Micheni Ntiba (Fisheries).
Mr Iringo was the permanent secretary in the Internal Security Ministry, Dr Kibicho was PS, Industrialisation and Mr Ntiba was Fisheries PS in the Kibaki regime.
The rest represent a new order as President Kenyatta urged the National Assembly to move with speed and vet the nominees.
Among those nominated are: Joseph Njoroge (Energy and Petroleum), Monica Juma (Defence), Kamau Thugge (Treasury), Ibrahim Mohammed (Commerce and Tourism), Colleta Suda (Science and Technology) and Richard Lesiyampe (Environment).
Others include: Wilson Songa (Industrialisation and Enterprise Development), Nduva Muli (Transport), John Konchella (Devolution), Sicily Kariuki (Agriculture), Josephta Mukobe (Coordination and Presidency), Fred Sigor (Health) and John Kipngetich (Infrastructure).
