First lady Margaret Kenyatta was yesterday hosted by deputy president William Ruto and his wife Rachel Ruto at their official residence in karen. Mrs. Ruto gave the first lady a tour of the palatial home that sits on a ten acre piece of land. In the compound are a main house, office block, guest house, domestic staff quarters, swimming pool, and a gym among other facilities. Over 400 million shillings was spent to construct the residence that took seven years to complete. It was officialy opened by retired president mwai kibaki last year.
