Gem MP Jakoyo Midiwo is a very unhappy man. Yesterday, the deputy Minority Leader was driving his sleek Mercedes when a matatu rammed into his car from behind at the Westlands roundabout along Waiyaki Way. The MP, though unhurt, alighted and engaged the driver and the conductor in a conversation where the two parties agreed they drive to Pangani police Station to record a statement. The matatu driver opted to follow the MP but  on reaching the entrance of the police station, the matatu crew zoomed off leaving the mheshimiwa alone. Midiwo had no alternative but to demand the policemen to arrest the matatu crew who had long gone and whose contact details he did not have!

A senior police officer has become the laughing stock of his colleagues after he went to K-Street hoping for an encounter with a street GIRL (emphasis deliberate). The cop managed to convince one of the call girls to join him for an intimate session. At some point in the negotiations, the cop realized that the girl was actually a man dressed in women's clothing. Realising his mistake, the cop took out his anger on the young man and berated him for wanting to 'trade' in what he did not have. The cop promptly drove off after pushing the man out of his car.

The African Union has reportedly written to the government over a case involving a young Kenyan woman who somehow managed to hoodwink the AU that she was President Uhuru Kenyatta's chief of staff. The young woman pretended to be a member of the Kenya delegation during last month's Heads of States Summit in Addis Ababa. She also managed to convince the Kenya delegation that she was the personal assistant to the deputy head of the Africa Union Commission! The AU wants the government to give an explanation.
