Monday declared public holiday as Kenyans vote

The Government has declared Monday, March 4 a public holiday to allow Kenyans to vote in the General Election.
In a statement, Head of Public Service Francis Kimemia said the holiday will give Kenyans a chance to participate in the polls.
The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has said polling stations countrywide will open at 6am and close at 5pm.
However, voters in line past 5pm will be allowed to cast their ballots.
