Candidates hit campaign trail after debate

After a gruelling presidential debate on Monday night, State House contenders return to the campaign trail Tuesday in last minute efforts to win support ahead of the March 4 General Election.
Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (Cord) torchbearer Raila Odinga will be in Thika, Kiambu County which is perceived as rival Jubilee coalition’s stronghold.
Mr Odinga is meeting opinion leaders in Thika Town.
On its part, Jubilee led by presidential candidate Uhuru Kenyatta will seek to consolidate support in Meru, Tharaka and Embu.
The Eagle coalition’s Peter Kenneth takes his search for votes to Narok and Kisii.
Musalia Mudavadi’s Amani Coalition will be in Kapsowar, Iten and Trans Nzoia.
Narc-Kenya leader Martha Karua will be in Kitui, Makueni and Machakos.
Restore and Build Kenya presidential candidate James Ole Kiyiapi takes his hunt for votes in Wajir and Maralal.
The campaigns are to officially end on Saturday.
The candidates have planned major rallies in various parts of the country on Saturday in a final plea to voters.
