Saturday November 10, 2012 - Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka now wants to be Prime Minister Raila Odinga’s running mate in the forthcoming elections, DAILY POST has established.
Although the VP has been shy to say that he is ready to work with the PM, he has been busy sending signals through his foot soldiers that the alliance with the PM is eminent.
Two weeks ago Kangundo MP Johstone Muthama sent a clear message to the country when he hosted the PM in his constituency.
Muthama said the Kalonzo is ready to work with the PM, but the VP denied fervently.
On Friday Sports Minister Ababu Namwamba expressed overwhelming confidence that Kalonzo will soon join the PM’S bandwagon in winning the next general election.
“There is nothing like the third force. This thing will be like the American election and you are here or there. Kalonzo is welcome in our team,” Namwamba said.
Today Wiper Democratic Movement (WDM) Secretary General Mutula Kilonzo will host ODM Ministers James Orengo and Otieno Kajwang as well as Bondo MP Oburu Odinga at the launch of his Makueni senate bid.
Mutula is a close confidante of the VP and this is a clear indication that the VP has ditched G7 Alliance and he is ready to be Raila Odinga’s running mate.
