I will work with Ruto and Uhuru says VP

Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka Sunday wound up his three day tour of Isiolo County saying that he was in good working relationship with Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta and Eldoret North MP William Ruto ahead of the forthcoming General Election.
Addressing a leaders meeting at the Range land in Isiolo township, the Vice President said he was in consultation with Uhuru and Ruto with a view to working as a team for the sake of peace in the country.
‘' We are consulting as leaders and this morning I talked with Uhuru and. Ruto who is in Nandi so that we can work together for the sake of peace of this country,'' said Mr. Musyoka.
And speaking at the St. Eusebius Cathedral, Isiolo Catholic Church in Isiolo County where he joined the faithful in celebrating Sunday mass, Musyoka reiterated that his wish is to unite all communities in Kenya irrespective of their political affiliation, creed, color or ethnicity.
He said he is ready to build on President Mwai Kibaki's legacy and ensure the country realize peace and further heights of development.
The mass was led by Isiolo Catholic Diocese Bishop Antony Ireri Mukobo.
The service was also attended by the East African Community Legislature Peter Mathuki, Isiolo County Commissioner Wanyama Musiambo and the Acting Permanent Secretary Ministry of Public Works Gideon Mulyungi.
He emphasized on the need for churches to intensify the fight against insecurity by preaching peaceful coexistence among communities so that Kenyans can learn to love and respect one another.
The Vice President asked the residents of Isiolo which is cosmopolitan to live in peace as it is a requisite for development.
Bishop Ireri called on Kenyans and leaders holding leadership positions to embrace love and humility amongst them so that the country could maintain peace during and after the forthcoming general elections.
"A society without God is like a society without a vacuum, it is up to the people holding positions to cooperate to seek God's guidance in serving the people," he said.
He said with forthcoming elections there is need for Kenyans to cultivate good neighborliness so that the freedom of expression and respect is attained.
He welcomed the initiative of the new education bill that will involve the participation of all stakeholders in the education sector.
