As a friend to one of the political aspirants gunning for a post under the TNA banner, there is a form on the TNA website (www.tna.co.ke) know as the iBelieve Candidates Creed that aspirants are supposed to sign and return to the TNA offices with copies of HELB cert, cert of good conduct, Anti corruption certificate, KRA cert etc etc.
My beef is in today’s Nation page 8 TNA chairman Johnson Sakaja criticised the move to have aspirants vetted by credit reference bureaus, KRA, Helb, among others. He said the clearance being undertaken to ascertain whether aspirants had defaulted on their loans was illegal as the requirement was abolished. He also denied that TNA presidential aspirant Uhuru Kenyatta and his URP counterpart William Ruto were in Burundi to sign a pact.
Now TNA I want to ask you...why did you subject my friend to the harrowing experience of getting the said documents yet you do not want the Presidential aspirants to be vetted???? Did Uhuru get a cert of good conduct from CID now that he is a suspect??? Why the double standards...I don’t trust this TNA PARTY
