The case will be heard on the 18th of January 2013
An Administration Police constable who was last week sacked for inciting his fellow officers to strike was Monday arraigned in court and pleaded not guilty to sending an inciting message.
Constable Philip Omondi who was based in Kimilili was released on a cash bail of 50,000 shillings.
It was alleged that on the 5th of this month at unknown place within the republic of Kenya Philip Omondi who identified himself as Bradley Philip Charles Konjung'a on Facebook posted a post that incited fellow police officers to go on a go-slow pending the implementation of a pay rise agreement.
Part of the post read that "Only togetherness can pull us out of  this mud, officers let us ground invigilation and let wahalifu do their job there's no way we can ask for 42% and then appreciate when given 8.5%". This according to the prosecution intended to incite other police officers.
The case will be heard on the 18th of January next year.
Elsewhere, Makadara and Embakasi Member of parliament have filed a petition against registrar of Persons, AG and IEBC.
Through their lawyer Mike Mbuvi and Ferdinand Waititu argue that there are six million youths in Kenya holding waiting cards and there's likelihood that they will never receive national identity cards before Election Day.
They now want the court to extend the time allocated for registration of voters so as to participate in the electoral process.
