WAITITU goes to MAINA NJENGA to seek MUNGIKI support


Friday August 24, 2012 - Embakasi MP Ferdinand Waititu has sent a top cop to the home of Mungiki leader Maina Njenga in Nairobi to woo him to rally Mungiki adherents in Nairobi, to support his bid in the Governor’s race in Nairobi.

A source who is close to the lawmaker informed the DAILY POST that,Waititu who is also the Water Assistant Minister is colluding with a top police officer at Vigilance House who is  acting  as an intermediary between Waititu and  the Mungiki leader.

Waititu was overheard saying he wants to tap Maina Njenga’s ability to mobilise and galvanise the youths in the city, so that he can win Nairobi’s gubernatorial race.

The Mungiki leader is vying for presidency with Mkenya Solidarity Movement party.
