UHURU and RUTO's strategy to beat RAILA hands down

UHURU and RUTO's strategy to beat RAILA hands down

Tuesday August 28, 2012 - The G7 alliance is working around the clock on a plan to ensure that Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta and Eldoret North MP William Ruto meet in the runoff in next year’s general election.

According to a credible source within the G7 alliance who talked to the DAILY POST on condition of anonymity, Cheranganyi MP Joshua Kuttuny is the brain behind the motive to ensure that Ruto’s support in Rift valley is enough to compete with Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta who has a solid support in the Mt Kenya region and Nairobi.

The two leaders have agreed to compete against each other so that they get rid of Prime Minister Raila Odinga in the runoff.

Mean while two MPs allied to Ruto’s party United Republican Party (URP) have rejected Prime Minister Raila Odinga appeal to rejoin the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM).
Mosop MP David Koech and Emgwen’s Elijah Lagat said they would instead form alliances with other like minded political parties rather than join ODM’s sinking ship.

The MPs who are close lieutenants of Mr Ruto said they would not look to where they have come from and they are committed in marketing Ruto’s for presidency.
