Inter Faith Peace Meeting

Today as Mombasa leaders we had a chance to hold discussion with various religious leaders. The events of the last three days have dented the image of our beautiful town and caused tension amongst various religions. Am happy to report that our religious leaders both Christians and Muslims resolved three things;
Firstly -- Jointly condemned the Killing of Sheikh Aboud Rogo and the burning of Churches.
Secondly-- Asked for an independent commission to investigate all the killings and acts of violence that happened in the recent months across the country.
Thirdly-- Promised to preach peace.
