The WAR continues: Alfred Mutua and Robert Alai

Tuesday, 21st August 2012- Popular blogger Robert Alai is still a wanted man by the police. He has been summoned over alleged abuse of the Kenya Information and Communication Act.
Nairobi PCIO Nicholas Kamwende said that Robert was needed at their offices to clarify some issues that he has been highlighting on Twitter and other social media avenues.
Kamwende says that he was summoned on Thursday and they hoped to see him latest today. He is accused of violating sections 26, 29 and 30 of the Act and the police feel that he has a lot to tell them.
Nicholas claims that if Alai fails to honour the summons, action will be taken against him.
The Government’s spokesman Alfred Mutua reported the blogger to the police claiming that he was inciting people to believe that he was behind the death threats of a certain lady. He added that Alai was abusing the Act.
