THANKS Kenyans: Zack of ‘Bring Zack Back Home’ campaigns is BACK!

Saturday, August 18, 2012 - After a strenuous 60 day wheel chair walk which was flagged off on June 9th, yesterday Zack was rescued before he could cross the Kenyan border to Tanzania by the Kenya Paraplegic Organization officials who claim he has up to date raised Sh. 73 million since he started the campaign.

The money raised was from the public and private organizations both locally and internationally. The campaigns have brought awareness to people on the importance of Kenya owning its very own rehabilitation center.

The nearest rehabilitation center in Africa is in South Africa.

KPO has since the flagging off of the campaigns bought a piece of land at Kiserian area and are expected to have a ground breaking ceremony which will start the construction of the rehabilitation center.

Recently Zack’s son was interviewed by Kiss 100’s breakfast show Caroline Mutoko and requested Kenyans to bring back his dad because he  dearly missed him. Seems his dream has come true.

Kenyan’s are still requested to help the organization get the remaining money to buy the required equipments to facilitate the smooth running of the facility.
