ROBERT Alai and ALFRED Mutua - case on Sept 13

Thursday, 23/08/2012 - The Government Spokesman was provoked by Tech Mtaablogger, Robert Alai Onyango who called him a ‘foolish pig intoxicated with power.’
Alai also posted a message on 16th August claiming that Mutua ordered the killing of University of Nairobi student G.P Oulu and human rights activist Oscar King’ara by claiming that they were Mungiki. This happened three years ago as the two drove along the University hall residence. Alai claimed that the Spokesman was also out to eliminate him.
The blogger was charged with violating the Communication Licensing Act. The 34 year old denied posting the abusive messages at the Milimani court in Nairobi where he is facing criminal charges. He was arrested on Tuesday and was held at the Nairobi CID headquarters overnight for interrogation.
Robert was released on a Sh.100,000 cash bail and his case will be held on September 13, 2012.
