MIGUNA and GACHOKA are mad men in a market - RAILA

Monday August 6, 2012 - Prime Minister Raila Odinga has termed his former coalition adviser Miguna Miguna and former Chief of Protocol Tony Gachoka as mad men in the market.

In his usual antics and gusto, Raila compared himself to a sane man who was swimming in a river and two insane men (Miguna and Gachoka) came and stole his clothes.

“When two mad men steal your clothes and ran away, would you chase them?” Raila quipped while addressing a major political rally in Kibera on Sunday.

He said he will not respond to the allegations of the two saying they are being used by his opponents to tarnish his name amidst his soaring popularity in the run to the general election.

Miguna and Gachoka have been perpetual protagonists in a carefully crafted script that purports to expose Prime Minister Raila Odinga’s role in 2007-08 post election violence.

Raila has distanced himself from the allegations saying there are just passing clouds out to entrench the status quo and will not in any way derail his grand match to State House.
