IMANYARA to be axed from ODM

Friday August 3, 2012- Imenti Central Gitobu Imanyara is currently swimming on murky waters, after senior Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) officials expressed discontentment of his leadership style. 

The officials are unhappy with the powers accorded to him by the Prime Minister Raila Odinga of organising his meetings both locally and abroad.

Among those who are complaining about the Imanyara’s issue are; Lands Minister James Orengo, Medical Services Minister Prof Anyang Nyong'o and Friends of Raila (FORA) lobby group who are saying they have been relegated to the periphery and have to wait for their decisions to be endorsed by Imanyara before  any action is taken.

One top official was overheard saying he is considering quitting the party if Imanyara continues to take the driver’s seat.

The party officials have now threatened to confront ODM party leader Raila Odinga to resolve on the matter or they leave him with Imanyara.
