I am the ONLY CORRUPT FREE presidential aspirant – KALONZO

Tuesday August 12, 2012 - Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka has said he is the only corrupt free presidential aspirant in the upcoming general election.

Speaking in his Mwingi North Constituency on Monday, Kalonzo said he was the best person to reconcile Kenyans and promote national cohesion since his face is not tainted with corruption and ethnicity as other presidential aspirants.

Kalonzo said his record in peace building in the region, has helped reconcile fighting communities in Somalia and Sudan.

“The country needs a leader who is clean and who can inculcate a sense of nationhood and belonging among Kenyans to achieve political stability and grow the economy,” Kalonzo said.

“Just like I did in Somalia and Sudan, ill strive to build on President Kibaki’s legacy by reconciling Kenyans irrespective of political, religious and social affiliation,” Kalonzo added.

He said Kenyans are now well informed on how top presidential contenders claim they are clean and reformers in the day and by night fall they are robbing Kenyans and promoting ethnicity.

The VP expressed optimism that he will be the fourth president of Kenya after President Kibaki exits early next year.
