Reigning Miss Kenya Susan Anyango has been appointed the official Bata shoes brand ambassador. The 19-year-old journalism student was on Thursday evening endorsed as the brand ambassador for the Miss World Kenya Bata collection. "This is a great privilege for me to work with Bata.The shoes I'm endorsing are not only comfortable but also affordable and fashionable,"said Susan in the cocktail which saw the country's VP Kalonzo Musyoka in attendance.
According to Ashley's and also the Miss World Kenya pageant manager, Terry Mungai, this was a great endorsement for the beauty queen. "Bata has now paved way for other corporates to embrace this as a way of endorsing their products. We are very delighted to be part of this project," she said. Susan's ambitions include starting up a cancer foundation in Kenya and continuing to support the anti-jigger campaign. Her ambitions are inspired by her mother's death after she succumbed to leukemia.
