Visitors to the Kogello home of US President Barack Obama’s grand parents will now have to undergo State clearance before setting foot in the area.
Nyanza PC Francis Mutie said the Government will have to screen all visitors to Obama’s anacestral home.
Mutie said the orders follow last week’s killing of al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden by American soldiers in a Pakistani city.

The PC said nobody would be allowed to visit the home without being cleared by relevant authorities in the area.
He added that all individuals planning to meet Mama Sarah Obama would first contact Siaya DC for clearance.
The PC said the visitor would undergo a thorough screening process in the DCs office in Siaya town before getting permission to visit the granny.
Mutie said, "We are not taking any chance and the public must abide by the new rules."
He said even relatives of Mama Sarah will be subjected to the screening process, although not same as for the visitors.
"Even family members must first be cleared by someone and Mama Sarah must also confirm he or she is a member of the family."
24-hour security
Mama Sarah’s home has been a beehive of activity since the election of Barack Obama as the US president.
Mutie confirmed security in the area had been beefed up and security personnel of Mama Sarah re-organised.
"We want to make sure we are alert 24 hours and ready for anything at any time," he said.
He added that security officers in the region are keen on the movements of Mama Sarah since the killing of Osama.
Mutie also said the granny has been assigned a special escort which will be part of her convoy.
"She will have an escort. I can’t give details on the same, but can confirm she will have a special escort," he said.
