Ruto explains stand against party move

Chepalungu MP Isaac Ruto insists Thursday's vote of no confidence against chair of the Parliamentary Committee on Justice and Constitutional Affairs Ababu Namwamba has nothing to do with party politics.
"The issue was loss of confidence in Namwamba as a person... it is irrelevant which party he comes from," said Mr Ruto, adding he was not party to ODM’s withdrawal from the committee, as he was not consulted.
He spoke on the sidelines of a stakeholders’ forum called by Constitution Implementation Committee to discuss pending Bills.
