Share/Save/Bookmark ELDORET North MP William Ruto yesterday said he will introduce an adjournment motion to push Parliament to discuss insecurity in Northern Kenya. Ruto said he was dismayed by the raging insecurity in the Northern Kenya.
He toured Karebur, Kainuk and Lodwar where about 80 people were last week killed by Merile invaders from Ethiopia. At the same time the Eldoret North MP said UDM was the party of the future which would deliver change in Kenya. Ruto was accompanied by MPs Eugene Wamalwa (Saboti) and Ekwe Ethuro (Turkana Central).
The legislators at the same time said politicians should stop wrangling over the leadership of the Parliamentary Constitution Oversight committee and instead focus on the constitution implementation.
Ruto said politicians should look at the long term goals of implementing the constitution as opposed to short term political gains. On the Hague process, Ruto said he supported the Hague trials because he was convinced that the truth would finally be known.
