DEATH AND FUNERAL ANNOUNCEMENT
THE LATE BENJAMIN OWUOR OCHUODHO
It is with great sadness to announce the passing of BENJAMIN OWUOR OCHUODHO of Atlanta, GA . Benjamin is the younger brother of Herold Oluoch, also of Atlanta, GA. He only arrived in the U.S. 2 years ago and was just settling down in a new job. Unfortunately, Benjamin was diagnosed with Leukemia last november and was in remission for 4 months before relapsing 5 weeks ago. He eventually lost the battle on 5th of May 2011 at 7:30 am, leaving behind his 25 year old wife and a 4 year old daughter. The tentative arrangement is to prepare to send Benjamin's remains back home to Kisumu. I would like to request all our friends and well-wishers to send their donations to this account to help in paying for the massive costs of the process will incure, as well as send out the word for any support that may be available from the larger Kenyan-American community:

The purpose my writing is to share with you comforting and encouraging information from the bible.
ReplyDeleteWould you be interested if I could show you from the Bible how you could see your dead loved ones again. One of the most comforting scripture is in the bible book of 2 corinthians chapters one verses three and four:
"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus christ, and the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort; who comforts us in all our tribulation that we may be able to comfort those in any sort of tribulation through the comfort with which we ourselves are being comforted by God."
The bible helps us to understand how Jehovah and Jesus feel about death. Jesus, who perfectly reflected his Father, knows the pain of losing someone in death. How did he feel about losing his friend Lazarus? If you turn to the scriptures in John chapters eleven verses thirty three and thirty five, the account tells us that Jesus joined Lazarus's relatives and friends as they grieved over this loss.
"Jesus therefore, when he saw her weeping and the Jews that came with her weeping, groaned in the spirit and became troubled." "Jesus gave way to tears." He felt the pain and sorrow that death brings. Did Jesus grief mean that he had no hope? Not at all. In fact Jesus knew that something wonderful was about to happen. The bible book of John chapters 11 verses three and four reads:
"Therefore his sisters dispatched the word to him, saying: "Lord see! The one for whom you have affection is sick." But when Jesus heard it he said: "This sickness is not with death as its object, but is for the glory of God, in order that the Sone of God may be glorified though it."
This encouraging information is for you and your family. It shows us that Jesus and His Father, Jehovah, hate death. But Jehovah God is able to fight and overcome that enemy death.
The bible teaches us in the bible book of first Corinthians chapters fifteen verses twenty six: "As the last enemy, death is to be brought to nothing.
Jehovah has promised that our loved ones will live again. Notice what prophet Isaiah prophesied in the bible book of Isaish chapters nineteen verses twenty six:
"Your dead ones will live. ...Awake and cry out joyfully, you residents in the dust! for your dew is as the dew of mallows, and the earth, itself will let even these impotent in death drop in birth."
Our loved ones will be brought to life again. That is the hope of ressurection. Our loving creator created us to live forever on earth. The bible show us that Jehovah God is eager to raise our loved ones who are asleep in death. Is is not heartwaring to learn that Jehovah feels that way?
A few years ago I lost my loved one and the big question for me was Can a lifeless person who is sleeping in death be brought back to life? Knowing the truth about such questions is beneficial. What is the future of mankind?
