The son of a prominent Cabinet minister caused a scene outside one of the bars in Westlands. The young man had an argument with a female patron.She left the bar in the company of her husband but the young man followed her outside and slapped her. The angry woman slapped back the minister's son who removed a pistol from his pocket, cocked it and started threatening to shoot the woman. The restaurants' bouncers had to intervene to contain the situation before it got out of hand. Overpowered by the bouncers, the minister’s son got into his sleek car and drove off at a high speed.

Three different personalities within the PNU are reportedly feuding over who will receive the credit as well as promised fat cheque for the production of a 'doctored' tape that portrayed Prime Minister Raila Odinga as one of the masterminds of the 2007/08 post election violence. One of the men conceived the idea, the second collected various clips where Raila was speaking before and at the height of post election violence, spliced and edited the clips while the third man took the complete tape to the top organs of the party who apparently presented the same to the International Criminal Court chief prosecutor Luis Moreno Ocampo and the court judges.

Yesterday, we told you about rogue Kilimani traffic officers, who covered up an accident that happened along Kileleshwa road on Wednesday night by failing to arrest the drunk driver who consigned a senior government officer in hospital for the last five days. Corridors has learnt that the rogue officers have now altered their entries into the OB. The officers used the fake entry of non injury traffic accident (NITA) to release the drunk driver and his Land Rover car. The question that begs for answer is; who will stand up for the injured man?

National Youth Service officers are grumbling that the government awarded the police, the administration police and the prison warders a salary increment of 28 percent a couple of months ago but forgot all about them. The new salary increments for the rest of the uniformed services take effect in July. But the NYS have nothing to look forward to a similar improvement.
