The Orange Democratic party is threatening to lock out its members who campaigned against the new Constitution from the Constitution Implementation Committee, it was revealed at a fundraising meeting in East Pokot.

The party's Chief Whip Gem Mp Jakoyo Midiwo claims that these members have betrayed the party's trust, and Sports Minister Paul Otuoma at least, is wholeheartedly in agreement. The Orange Democratic movement is categorical that party MPs who campaigned against the Constitution will not sit in the Parliamentary Constitutional Implementation Oversight Committee though they may remain party members.

To all intents and purposes, all the key members and strategists of the 'NO' campaign team have been locked out of the Implementation Committee.
