INVESTIGATIONS ON

The police are following crucial leads that might lead to the arrest of the people behind Sunday's grenade attack at a NO rally that left six people dead and scores of others injured, Prime Minister Raila Odinga has said.

The PM said police have launched a comprehensive investigation into the attack.

Addressing press at his office Monday, Raila called on Kenyans to remain calm as the investigations are carried out.

"During this time of grave national concern, the government appeals to Kenyans to be calm and to avoid unnecessary speculation," Odinga said

The Prime Minister further said that campaigns for or against the proposed constitution will continue and called on Kenyans to be tolerant and remain peaceful.

The blasts should be treated as an "isolated incident," he said.

Twenty one people are still admitted in various hospitals in Nairobi while another 105 have since been treated and discharged.
