25 percent of the KIKUYU Community will vote for RAILA ODINGA – KUGURU asserts

Friday February 22, 2013 - Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Central Kenya coordinator Peter Kuguru has exuded confidence that Prime Minister Raila Odinga will get 25 percent of the Central Kenya vote in the upcoming poll.

Addressing a press conference after his convoy was attacked in Kiambu County on Wednesday, Kuguru said ODM will not be deterred in their mission to popularise the PM’s Presidential bid, saying 25 percent of the Kikuyu community will vote for Raila Odinga.

“There are a lot of ODM supporters in Central Province, it’s just that they do not come out openly since the area is perceived as The National Alliance (TNA) zone,” Kuguru said.

Kuguru said he will launch a door to door campaign from Kiambu, Murang’a, Kirinyaga, Nyeri and Nyandarua counties to make sure the PM garners 25 percent on March 4Th.

He said he has enough resources to oil his machinery, saying he will make sure the PM is the fourth President after President Kibaki exit on March 4th.
