Karl Rove came on Fox News and challenged the networks call of Ohio and was shut down by even the Fox analysit.

Fox News Argues With Itself About Whether Obama Won Ohio

Wallace is speaking:

"Well I have great respect for our decision desk, and I can see that they're very happy in Chicago, but I have to tell you that the Romney camp has real doubts by the call that has been made by us and by other networks. They do not believe that Ohio is in the Obama camp. I just got an email from a top Romney person. I asked, 'Do you agree with our call?' He said 'Not really. It's less than 20 percent of the vote still out in GOP areas.'" ...

"So, maybe not so fast, folks!" Chris Wallace said. "Uh, thank you!" Bret Baier said. "That's awkward," Megyn Kelly added.

Host Bret Baier said that he would get someone from the network's election desk to explain further. Kelly walked across the office to speak with the desk of Fox News' decision desk.

"You tell me whether you stand by your call on Ohio given the doubts Karl Rove just raised," Kelly said. "We're actually quite comfortable with the call in Ohio. Basically right now there's too much Obama vote that's outstanding there that we know's going to come in," a member of the decision desk said. "We're quite comfortable with the idea that Obama will carry Ohio." He put it at "99.9 percent" that Obama had won the state.

"There just aren't enough Republican votes left for Mitt Romney to get there," a fellow decision desk member added.

Karl Rove is continuing to dispute the Ohio call. But, is not disputing the Obama will win the election, just not Ohio.

And, CNN's Candy Crowley reports Mitt Romney is not yet willing to concede due to Ohio numbers.  

While the rest of the nation and world are celebrating virtually all of the networks celebrating President Obama's reelection, a small group of diehards, lead by Karl Rove is challenging the call of Ohio in the president's favor, and this doubt is enough to prevent the Romney campaign from giving a concession speech.

Fox News has called Ohio for President Barack Obama, but Karl Rove disagreed with that decision Tuesday night, saying the state is far from settled and the call was “premature.”

Fox News’s Chris Wallace said the Romney campaign does "not believe Ohio is in the Obama camp,” noting that he got an email from a top Romney aide who said the campaign disagrees with the network’s call. He then asked Rove if he believed Ohio has been settled.

“No, I don’t,” Rove said.

“I think this is premature,” he added. “We’ve got a quarter of the vote. Now remember, here is the thing about Ohio. A third of the vote or more is cast early and is won overwhelmingly by the Democrats. It’s counted first and then you count the election day and the question is, by the time you finish counting the election day does it overcome that early advantage that Democrats have built up in early voting, particularly in Cuyahoga County.”

Rove said the network needs to be “careful about calling things when we have like 991 votes separating the two candidates and a quarter of the vote yet to count. Even if they have made it on the basis of select precincts, I’d be very cautious about intruding in this process.”
