Saturday November 3,2012 - Some ardent supporters of KANU who moved with Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta to The National Alliance (TNA) are up in arms against the new status being accorded ODM nominated MP Racheal Shebesh.
The members says it is a slap on their faces for the defector to act like a “ first lady” with one of them questioning the wisdom of having her accompany Mr Kenyatta on such a serious trip as meeting Tanzania President Jakaya Mlisho Kikwete.
Earlier on Friday, a lobby group campaigning for Mr Kenyatta, Vijana Tuko Pamojahad dismissed Shebesh’s defection as valueless both to Mr Kenyatta and the party.
“Her coming is about her personal interests and nothing else.”
Elsewhere, some TNA women have been plotting on how to beat Shebesh at the nomination stage for the Nairobi County women’s representative seat.
