Most Kenyans want RUTO to be UHURU’s running mate




Sunday November 11, 2012 - According to a latest survey conducted by Infotrack Harris, 57 percent of Kenyans want Eldoret North MP William Ruto to be Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta’s running mate.

The poll also shows that only 32 percent of Kenyans want Ruto to be Prime Minister Raila Odinga’s running mate in the upcoming general election.

In other findings by the pollster, Prime Minister Raila Odinga is the most popular Presidential candindate with 35.4 %, Uhuru Kenyatta 24%, William Ruto 10.3%, Musalia Mudavadi 10%, Kalonzo Musyoka 8.8%, Martha Karua 4.3% and Peter Kenneth 2.0%.

The pollster also shows that 76 percent of Kenyans are confident that the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) will carry free and fair election.
