Kenneth says latest opinion poll results were misleading

By Felix Olick
KENYA: Presidential aspirant Peter Kenneth has dismissed recent opinion polls as misleading insisting he remains the favourite candidate among the youth. The Gatanga MP, who is also the Planning Assistant minister, termed the results as ‘illusionist’.
“No candidate has the youth of this country like team PK (Peter Kenneth). We want to tell them that even the number that we have here is more than the 1,500 people that they polled,” declared the Kenya National Congress (KNC) aspirant.
Opinion polls released by Infotrak on Friday indicated that Kenneth was sixth in popularity rating among the youth with only 4.6 per cent. Addressing the youth at Kenyatta International Conference Centre yesterday, Kenneth dismissed his competitors in the presidential race as non-performers.
He warned Kenyans that electing such leaders would be maintaining the status quo and a waste of time for another five years.
