Saturday August25, 2012 - Makadara MP, Mike Mbuvi alias Sonko has refused to undergo a minor surgery after doctors advised him to undergo one.

The flamboyant MP said he does not have faith in our local hospitals and he is planning to go to South Africa for advanced medical care.

Sonko said local hospitals are not secure enough to guarantee his safety, saying they can be used by his political enemies to finish him.

The Makadara lawmaker was overheard saying that he plans to travel for the surgery in South Africa by road with over 400 of his supporters to give him moral support and encouragement.

Sonko has already hired 6 buses from a local travel firm.
