Thursday August 2, 2012-Prime Minister Raila Odinga will today return to Kikuyu land to seek support for his presidential bid.
The Premier will start with a visit to Nyandarua County, where he is expected to pay a visit to the family of the late politician JM Kariuki and lay a wreath at his grave in Gilgil. JM was an MP for Nyandarua.
He will also visit the wife of freedom fighter Dedan Kimathi and meet some Mau Mau veterans.
In a statement signed by PM’s spokesman, Mr Dennis Onyango, the ODM party leader will visit Nyandarua and Laikipia counties before returning to Nairobi on Friday.
His tour to Nyandarua comes barely a week after Deputy Prime Minister Musalia Mudavadi traversed the counties.
