Leaders agree to form a technical team to harmonize unity bid
A breakfast meeting hosted by Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta and energy Minister Kiraitu Murungi, and attended by two other presidential hopefuls has resolved to form a technical team to harmonize the formation of a new coalition arrangement among key presidential hopefuls.Notably absent from today's meeting was URP's presidential hopeful William Ruto and Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka, whose party was represented by nominated MP Mohamed Affey. Today's meeting is a follow-up of yesterdays' meeting, where Uhuru was endorsed by four political parties as their presidential flag bearer.
