KALONZO’s message to the YOUTH

KALONZO’s message to the YOUTH

Wednesday August 15, 2012-Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka has challenged youths vie for the top seats as envisaged in the new Constitution.

Speaking to over 2000 Anglican Church Kenya (ACK) youths attending a seminar at the Senior Chief Koinange Girls High School in Kiambu, the VP appealed that they maintain peace before and after the next general election.

“The church should guide the youth to make informed choices on leaders to elect come the next election. The youth should be given the freedom to elect leaders of the choice without being influenced,” Kalonzo said

Kalonzo, who is also Mwingi North MP, asked the church to be in the frontline in preaching peace and reconciliation.

“I challenge the youth to stand out to be cheerful at all times and avoid being used to engage in lawlessness,” he said.

He urged youth to elect youthful leaders who have the energy to transverse the country and to let wazees retire with President Kibaki.

Kalonzo appealed to all youths in the country to support his presidential bid, saying he is the only leader who understands the needs of the youth in the country.
