Miguna Miguna's promotion of his book, "Peeling Back the Mask: A Quest for Justice in Kenya", might hit a snag after the management of a leading media house issued strict instructions to the journalists advising them to report on the event but not delve into the contents of the controversial book. A CID senior officer is under the spotlight for "protecting" a  businessman only known as Shah, who has reportedly been defrauding his business partners. The businessman fled to India two weeks ago after police obtained evidence that he had forged a court order and falsified the signature of the Registrar of Companies purporting to show that he was a director of a company he was attempting to take over. The CID officer reportedly prevailed upon the police not to arrest the businessman whom he advised to leave the country for a while until the heat cools down. It seems the CID officer has since "sorted out" the matter with the police and has now assured the businessman he can return home.
