Aspirants intensify weekend campaigns

Presidential aspirants are expected to intensify their campaigns this weekend with Prime Minister Raila Odinga camping in Eldoret North MP William Ruto’s turf in the North Rift.
Vice-President Kalonzo Musyoka will be in Kisii and Nyamira while Mr Ruto will take his vote hunt to Maralal and Baragoi in Samburu County on Saturday.
Mr Odinga, who has been in Turkana for the better part of the week, will today attend a thanksgiving ceremony at Industrialisation minister Henry Kosgey’s home in Nandi Hills to celebrate the MP’s reinstatement to the Cabinet after the dismissal last month of abuse of office charges against him. The PM will also address a public rally at Kip Keino Stadium in Kapsabet town.
He will on Sunday attend a church service at the ACK Church in Eldoret town before proceeding to the 64 Stadium for a public rally.
Mr Ruto will on Saturday visit Maralal and Baragoi in Samburu County. On Sunday he will attend a church service and later a public rally in Isiolo town.
Vice-President Kalonzo Musyoka is in Kisii and Nyamira counties to popularise his Wiper Democratic Movement and his presidential bid.
He will address rallies in Isoke, Nyansiongo, Kebirigo, Keumbu, Nyanturago and Kenyenya in Kisii and Nyamira counties.
On Sunday he will attend the centenary celebrations for the SDA church in Kisii town and thereafter address a rally. 
Deputy Prime Minister Musalia Mudavadi will on Saturday attend the Nairobi Annual Yearly Meeting of the Friends Church at Friends Centre, Maringo, before proceeding to Muringa Road for the wedding of his cousin, Wendy Mudavadi.
