Aah….Are there Chinese hawkers in KENYA? Demonstration at 10a.m TODAY

Thursday, the 16th of August 2012 -The Kenyan DAILY POST has just received reliable information that there will be a demonstration this morning by Kenyan business people against what they see as the illegal encroachment of Chinese hawkers into their market.
Our sources say that the demonstration will start at 10:00 a.m from Eastleigh. Unless the police break up the demo, those involved in its planning hope to make their way to the Prime Minister’s office to seek his assistance in the matter.
This continues a recent pattern in which aggrieved mobs (say striking matatu operators) start their protest somewhere in town and finish it off by seeking the intervention of the PM.
This latest demo has reportedly been organized by the Kenya World Wide Importers and Traders Association.
