A new political party associated with a serving permanent secretary has been registered.
The Education permanent secretary plans to use the party to vie for the presidency in next year’s General Election.
Prof James ole Kiyiapi, through proxies, has registered the Restore and Build Kenya (RBK) party.
He has confirmed he was linked to the new party.
“I am not an ordinary civil servant. How do I run for presidency without preparing for it?
“Others who have expressed interest are also preparing and are government officials like me,” Prof Kiyiapi said.
The registered officials include Dr David Jakaiti (national chairman), Mr Sydney Quntai (secretary general) and Mr Reuben Kigame (treasurer), all said to be the permanent secretary’s close associates.
The officials have 180 days to satisfy the registrar of political parties that they meet all that is required of a political party as spelt out in the new Constitution.

  5. My names are Jeremiah Koskei. A Kenyan with the passion of change for the better Kenya. My dear fellow Kenyans, kindly wake up and stop being dubed into political rhetoric of successive politics. Don't be misled that one needs political experience to lead this country. ask yourself,' since independence, has any of the so called experienced politicians brought food on your tables? You are the one who have to wake up every morning looking for the daily bread for your children. let us look for change for the betterment of all from the north to the south and from the east to the west.let's keep off form the so called tribal politics. let us go for integrity and not just politics or parties. We need leaders who are corruption free, nationalists, patriotic and not self centered. Don't look at the size of the tribe where one comes from to be a president. God created all of us to have fare share on this earth. No one was was born to be poor or even to be special over others. But we have created poverty on others and riches to oneself due to selfishness and greed. We have created special classes by continuously voting in the same same Quakes. Wake up! Kenyans and vote for change to restore ;liberate and build a Kenya that is free from impunity and power brokerage.

Five years is soon lapsing. look around at your village, town or your place of residence. Is there any significant change for the last four years that you can be proud of? How is security, Roads, Power supply, business, youth employment, agriculture name it? and you want to vote them back again? Reflect and think seriously and not make the same mistake again. Join me and the rest of Kenyans to vote for Olekiyapi in 2012 as the next president of the republic of |Kenya. The man who is brave and was able to kill a lion to restore dignity in Masai land. The man of integrity . Thank you my fellow Kenyans. I know and i feel you have heard me. Let us all be the voices of the voiceless.

  9. Have you ever thought about including a little
bit more than just your articles? I mean, what
you say is fundamental and all. However imagine if you
added some great images or videos to give your posts more, "pop"!
Your content is excellent but with images and clips,
this website could undeniably be one of the best in its
    niche. Very good blog!
