A court has declined to issue orders halting the process of appointing Keriako Tobiko as the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Instead, Justice Jeanne Gacheche directed the parties to appear on Tuesday for a full hearing.
Earlier, Thomas Kagwe Mbugua had filed a petition seeking to block Mr Tobiko from assuming the office of DPP until his petition is heard and determined.
He is also seeking an order directing the said respondents to make available minutes, notes , reports, maps, questionnaires, memoranda and any other document prepared for the purpose of conducting his interview or submitted by various persons or institutions including the National Security Intelligence Service (NSIS).
The respondents include representatives from the President and Prime Minister's offices, State Law Office, Cotu, Law Society of Kenya among others.
Mr Tobiko is listed as an interested party.
