Share/Save/Bookmark A female MP may face divorce action after she was caught red handed with her mpango wa kando (liaison) with her lover at a prominent hotel in Eldoret. The woman had arrived home from a trip abroad and rushed to meet her boyfriend who is a businessman. Her driver dropped the MP at the hotel where her lover was waiting and they spent a blissful seven hours together. Her husband was tipped off about her presence in the room, rushed there and confirmed that she and her lover were indeed together in the room and opted to confront her at their home. Our wags tell us that the confrontation resulted in slight injuries being suffered by the MP as her husband vented his anger.

Some chief executive officers have no respect for one of their own who manages a local airline. They were overheard backbiting him saying the his success is due to his ethnic affiliations and political connections.

Attorney General Amos Shitswila Wako may have good reason to never stop smiling. Reason? An MP was overheard reporting how Wako is happy to retire at his own terms complete with a transitional clause on his exit later this year. The MP was saying that not only is Wako retiring at his own terms, he is also participating in recruitment of not only his successor but also that of all key judicial officers in his capacity as JSC member. And not to forget that in the end, he might come back as a senator. "How lucky can  a man be!" the MP quipped to his friends.
