Share/Save/Bookmark A  Parliamentary Commissioner has complained that about 30 senior management staff members at Parliament have decided to promote themselves after sanctioning a little known company to do staff renationalisation at the National Assembly. We are told that the issue has generated a lot of heat among staff members and commissioners. Two meetings scheduled by commissioners to discuss the issue have ended in disarray. According to our mole in the Parliamentary Service Commission, there are staff members, who have been in one grade for the last 20 years.===
Some Staff at the National Assembly are complaining about an MP from Kisumu who has been humiliating and intimidating them. The man known for his nagging ways and extreme pettiness has been ruthlessly ejecting staff from the VIP lifts at the Continental House and throwing out those he finds at the National Assembly Library or at the IT Centre. The man has been making endless stopovers at the office of the clerk, reporting the juniors whom he says should be sacked for taking lifts reserved for MPs.
===The intimacy between a Cabinet minister from Eastern province and a media woman working for a radio station will soon reach an anti-climax. An employee of the minister working as spy for his wife has released damning details of the illicit affair. The minister's jealous wife even went ahead to hire a private investigation firm based at Upper Hill to track down the young woman and her amorous husband.

Government Spokesman Dr Alfred Mutua worked frantically to cleanse the government of allegations that it is perpetuating ethnicity within the military ranks. Mutua went ahead to list the names of civilians such as Cabinet minister Yusuf Hajji, assistant ministers Joseph ole Nkaissery and David Musila, PS Nancy Kirui among other personnel  in the military to balance the ethnic equation loudly criticised by a local daily on Friday. The minister, the two assistant ministers and PS are not recognized in the military formation or listed as military officers. Corridors will be waiting to see how Kibaki will make his next military appointments!
