Share/Save/Bookmark The amorous behaviour of a Cabinet minister from the Rift Valley has become a subject of debate within the corridors of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. While on foreign trips, the minister is said to be fond of making lonely walks into the red light districts. The man has been arrested twice in foreign cities and released after the intervention of Kenya's diplomats abroad. Some senior government officials now want to advise the President not to clear the minister for foreign trips because of his immoral conduct.

Bodyguards assigned to an influential and vocal Member of Parliament from North Rift are angered by their boss whom they say never cares about what they eat despite working around the clock to ensure he is safe. The man retreats for chicken-winged dinners and western cuisine buffets at lunch time leaving his two aides outside the big hotels. The two guards have accused the big-bellied politician of being ungrateful and arrogant.

A vocal senior public official in the grand coalition government has been accused of impregnating two college girls who worked in his office as interns. The man courted the girls separately and secretly and when he learnt that they were both pregnant, he tried in vain to convince them to procure an abortion. Now one of the victims has planned a massive court battle against the well known arrogant senior official in bid to fight for the rights of her innocent baby.

Housing minister Soita Shitanda felt challenged by a South African visitor who toured schools in his constituency and donated bricks and other construction materials to Ifwetere Primary School which is among several abandoned schools in Malava constituency. The minister bought iron sheets and visited the same school to present the goodies.
