Share/Save/Bookmark Has Joe Nyagah changed his mind about contesting a political office? We are told by those close to the Minister that the man from Gachoka has decided to rethink his plan to abandon elective office. The Minister had a few   weeks ago told some of his people that he was not interested in any of the positions created by the new constitution because his experience and status made him suitable for the presidency.

Is COTU Secretary-General Francis Atwoli planning to contest the Presidency in 2012? We are told by those who know him well that Atwoli is seriously thinking about taking a stab at the presidency and that some of his close associates have began laying ground. Some Union leaders in Rift Valley seem to be aware of the plan and have been telling anyone who care to listen that they will back one of their own for the big seat.

A son of a prominent politician was engaged in a street fracas with a hawker on Tuesday.  The street hawker approached the man, who was driving a Range Rover and it is not understood what the hawker  told him. Our mole has informed us that two fellows who were in the Range Rover car KBC ***Y, walked out and descended on the hawker before jumping into the car again and sped off.

Are ODM bigwigs shying away from  campaigning for their candidate in Ikolomani by elections. We are told that the bigwigs are fearing humiliation in case  the immediate former MP Bonny Khalwale wins the race.
